Ricky Dean Tackett, 54, of Sitka, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Ricky was born December 27, 1966 in Johnson County, Kentucky, the son of  Juanita Jewel Kimbler and the late Loyal Edward “Jimmy Dean” Tackett.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Sitka Freewill Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Tackett Family Cemetery, Coleman Branch, Hager Hill, Kentucky. Friends may visit Sitka Freewill Baptist Church  from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

*In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Jones-Preston Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
