
Kermit Jacobs 74 of Bevinsville, KY, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Friday, March 19, 2021 after a long hard and courageous fight with cancer. Kermit was born February 9, 1947 in Wheelwright, KY to Melvin & Grace Triplett Jacobs. Kermit attended Wheelwright High School and many may remember Kermit working several jobs as a caddy at the old nine hole golf or running the movie projector at the old theater while growing up in Wheelwright. He was also a foster father to several teen aged children. He enjoyed hunting, flea marketing and auctions and garage sales.
Kermit retired from Huffy Bicycle of Celina, OH. Kermit proudly served his country, in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He also had worked as a police officer for the City of Celina, OH.
Visitation will be held at Bevinsville First Baptist Church March 21st-22nd.
Funeral services will be held at Bevinsville First Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 23rd at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Buckingham Cemetery in Bevinsville, KY
