The Floyd County Health Department has reported a surge in cases in the county, stating that within the last two days nearly 100 people have went into quarentine due to possible exposure to the virus. The health department reported 12 new positive cases, 4 people are hospitalized and there are 35 active cases in the county as of yesterday evening.
