James Charles Kunath, age 80 of Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1940 in Center Line, Michigan to the late Mark & Helen Kaltz Kunath. He was the husband of Donna McCoy Kunath. He was a member of St. Martha’s Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will begin Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12 noon at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Father Bob Damron & Father Brandon J. Bigam officiating.
