Thomas Turan Tackett, age 63, of McDowell, husband of Paula Denise Stumbo Tackett, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence.  He was born October 9, 1957 in Chicago, IL, a son of the late Noah and Claudette Hall Tackett.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, McDowell, KY, worked for many years at Our Lady of the Way Hospital and retired from St. Joseph Martin Hospital.

Funeral service for Thomas Tackett will be conducted Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. CB Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home, with church service Friday evening at 7 p.m.
