Governor Andy Beshear announced plans to divide $4.3 million across multiple communities to aid rebuild parks and outdoor spaces. Among those communities is Floyd County, which will receive $44,071 to build a community shelter with picnic tables, add an ADA accessible playground and sidewalk connecting the parking lot to the shelter, buildings, and playground.
