The Kentucky Libertarian party has compared ‘Vaccine Passports’- proof of vaccination that may eventually be a key factory in granting access into businesses- to the star shaped identification that Jewish people were forced to wear on their clothing during the Holocaust.

In a tweet that now has over 4,000 reports and 9,000 comments, the Libertarian Party of Kentucky said “Are the vaccine passports going to be yellow, shaped like a star, and sewn on our clothes?”. One comment from Jewish actor Seth Rogen told the Kentucky party to ‘take [their] message elsewhere’.

Both Kentucky’s Democratic party and Republican party have said that they will never condemn this type of hateful and extreme rhetoric.
