
The Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal shooting of a man by a Fleming County officer on Monday.
Police say the officer pulled a vehicle over in Mason County due to what appeared to be a domestic violence situation between the male driver and female passenger.
The driver attempted to run away, but the officer caught up with him. During the struggle the officer fired his gun, wounding the man according to Police.
The man later died in the hospital.
The names of the victim and officer have not yet been released. The investigation is ongoing.
