Julius Mullins, 93 of Melvin, KY, passed away April 4, 2021 at his residence. Born July 16, 1927 in Melvin, KY, he was the son of the late Frank & Hattie Little Mullins. Julius was the husband of the late Juanita Tackett Mullins for 63 years. He was a Coal Miner, Electrician, WWII Army Veteran, Deacon of the Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church where he had been a member since 1951, Secretary/Treasurer for UMWA District #30, Board of Trustees for UMWA Retirement Fund, ARH Board of Trustees and Secretary of Local Union 5899.

Visitation will be 3pm Tuesday (April 6, 2021)at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin and after 10am Wednesday (April 7, 2021) at Joppa Old Regular Baptist Church, Melvin, KY.

Funeral services will be 12noon Wednesday (April 7, 2021) at the church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery, Prestonsburg, KY.
