Elder Elbert Rodolph Sesco,76 of Canada, KY, passed away Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1944 in Brushy, KY the son of the late Leonard and Elzie Robinette Sesco. He was also preceded in death by his wife Martha Farley Sesco and his brothers, Tom Sesco, Bobby Sesco and Vernal Sesco.
He was a member of Pilgrim Home Church of Jesus Christ. He became ordained on April 28, 1984. He was also a member of the U.M.W.A, having worked as a coal miner for 29 years throughout Kentucky and West Virginia mines. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his extended church family. One of his best talents was that he never knew a stranger and was able to comfort them in times of sorrow and bring joy in times of rejoicing.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 beginning at 2:30 PM at the Reed Cemetery, Turkey Creek, KY and live streamed on R.E Rogers Funeral Home Facebook page. Eric Williamson will be officiating, and Elbert’s brothers will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home chapel from 12:30pm until 2 PM. R.E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY is serving the Sesco family. Online condolences may be made at rerogersfh.com.
