A Corbin man has been arrested for attempting to purchase a child on the street. Police say the Ronnie Lou Helton attempted to help a three year old climb over a fence, and the offered the grandmother of the boy $1,000 to take him. The grandmother was able to get the boy back, and family of Helton have messaged the grandmother to let her know that she kept her grandson from a very dangerous individual. Helton has been arrested and charged with kidnapping and promoting human trafficking.
