Barbara Ann Short, age 73 of Mousie, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her residence in Mousie, Kentucky. She was born on July 20, 1947 in Lackey, Kentucky to the late Crofus and Minnie Hicks Owens. She was the wife of the late Earnest Clay Short.

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Short will be held on Thursday April 15, 2021 at 1PM at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman, Kentucky with Eugene Thacker and Hiram Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening April 13, 2021 from 6PM-10PM with service at 7PM with Roger Hicks, Abe Howell and other New Salem ministers officiating. Anytime Wednesday April 14, 2021 until 10PM with service at 7PM with Jerry Manns and other Antioch Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating.

Burial will follow at the Earnest Clay Short Family Cemetery at Mousie, Kentucky.
