Former Kentucky Basketball player, Terrence Clarke, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles.

Reports say Clarke was leaving a workout with Kentucky teammate BJ Boston when the crash happened.

The crash happened around 2pm local time, when Clarke ran a red light and collided with a vehicle attempting to make a left turn.

A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic division says footage from a resident’s security camera’s show Clarke’s vehicle hit a light pole and a brick wall.

Clarke was transported to the Northridge Hospital where he died from his injuries. No one else was injured in the accident.
