Shirley Renee Adkins Smith, age 55, of Hippo, KY, wife of David “Bub” Smith, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Continue Care Hospital, Corbin, KY. She was born November 10, 1965, in Paintsville, KY, the daughter of the late Sally Davis Adkins and Adam Adkins. She was a member of the Hueysville Church of Christ and a secretary for SGS Services.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother; Heath Adam “Buddy” Adkins.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Chester Varney officiating. Entombment will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
