Chester Allen Preston, at the age of 81 years, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Born July 28, 1939 in Johnson County, he was the first born son of the late Homer W. Preston and Marie (Ward) Preston.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Par, Staffordsville. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday and from 9:00am until time of services on Saturday. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
