Odessa Messer 89, of Kermit, WV went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born on March 12, 1932 to Ira Spaulding and Melinda Dawson Spaulding.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and a member of the Welcome Home Church of Jennies Creek, WV. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, going to church, beautiful flowers and singing.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Mullins Family Funeral Home at 11:00am with Freddie Messer Jr. and Daniel Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Kelly & Odessa Messer Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. Visitation will be on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the funeral home from 6-9pm.
