Margalee Roop, age 93, of Inez, KY, passed away May 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 17, 1927 in Martin County, KY to the late Harrison Porter and Margie James Porter.

Margalee was a member of Rockcastle United Baptist Church when she was able to attend. She loved to go to churches and night singings. She always got a blessing from hearing the beautiful singing. She enjoyed quilting, word searches, talking on the phone (when able), riding around and looking at Christmas lights, and her favorite of all, swinging on the porch. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Jimm Smedley officiating. Burial will follow in the Roop Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home beginning at 11 AM on Sunday until the time of services.
