Kentucky Attorney general Daniel Cameron has created a task force set to look into search warrants following the 2020 death of Breonna Taylor.
The task force is to meet on Monday to discuss the entire search warrant process and aims to bring recommendations to the state on ways to better the process of obtaining, and executing a search warrant.
The first meeting is set for Monday, and will be open to the public via a YouTube live stream on Attorney General Cameron’s YouTube account.
The Kentucky legislature already passed a law restricting the use of no-knock warrants, but Cameron has said he expects his task force to examine the entire search warrant process from police to prosecutors to judges.
