Bud Willliams, 89, a life-long resident of Stone, Kentucky departed this life after declining health for the last 2 years. He was a retired coal miner from Island Creek Coal Company and a member the U.M.W.A. Bud will always be remembered for his strong will and determination but, mostly for his great love for horses and harness racing. He took great pride and enjoyed watching his horses finish the race just as he did on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
He was born to the late Arthur and Arminda Williams of Stone, Kentucky on February 1, 1932.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and funeral services in the chapel on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Brother James Justice officiating. Burial will be in the barnyard at his home-place in Stone, Kentucky. R. E. Rogers Funeral home of Belfry, Ky, is serving the Williams family.
