drug-bust-2

Deputies in Boyd County say a man is back in jail after being on the run and on drugs. Deputies on Monday were called for a welfare check at a motel in the community of Summit. That is when they found Eddie Sergent in an overdue room. According to investigators, he took off from the Kentucky Parole Board in March of 2020 and hadn’t been seen since. When deputies secured a search warrant for the room, they found meth, heroin, prescription pills and cash. Sergent is lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
