An 11th Grader at Lexington Christian Academy has been announced as the winner of the 2021 Doodle for Google Competition.

Milo Golding was announced the winner of the competition and had his entry piece, ‘Finding Hope’ featured as Google’s home-page for a day, as well as a $30,000 scholarship from Google and an additional $50,000 for technology for schooling.

Golding told Google’s CEO that he plans to use the scholarship to study medicine, a field he was drawn to after his fathers sudden passing.

Golding competed against 54 final entries, one from every US State and territory, and entered into a pool of over 100,000 entries at the start of the competition.
