Kennie Messer 94 of Kermit, WV; went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 14, 1927 in Mingo County, WV; he was a son of the late Freelin and Mary Evans Messer. Kennie was a heavy equipment operator, United State Army Veteran, and member of the First Stepptown Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 11am-12pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with services to immediately follow with his son, Glenn Messer officiating. Burial will follow in the Messer Family Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV.
