Officials with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a deadly crash that took place this past Sunday morning in Keavy Road.

 

According to investigators, a Nissan Rogue was traveling southbound of KY 363, when it came across a sharp curve, crossed into the northbound lane and struck a Nissan Titan head-on.

 

The driver of the Rogue, 49-year-old Eric Hone, of Williamsburg, was taken to a hospital where he was then pronounced dead by the Laurel County Coroner’s Office. No other passengers were inside of his car.

 

The driver of the Titan, 29-year-old Clayton Thomas, alongside his passenger, 35-year-old Elizabeth Thomas, were taken to the hospital for the treatment of multiple injuries.
