Sharon Jean Sturgill Smith, age 62, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. She was born February 27, 1959 in Paintsville, KY, a daughter of the late Arnold Bert Sturgill and Mary Akers Bautister.

Funeral service for Ms. Smith will be conducted on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday and all day Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home.
