Sharon Leigh “Sherry” Davis Burchett, age 66, of Paintsville died Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. She was born June 16, 1955 in Augusta, GA to the late Lee and Doris Donley Davis. On July 14, 1973 in Staffordsville she married Wilbur Burchett who survives her death.

Sherry was a nurse at Paul B Hall Regional Medical Center and was a member of the Southside Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday at the Southside Free Will Baptist Church from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Thursday July 22, 2021 at the Southside Free Will Baptist Church with Wayne Price, Larry Smith, and Marvin Castle officiating. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Southside Free Will Baptist Church by contacting the Preston Funeral Home at 606-789-4212.
