A federal grand jury has now returned new charges against a woman out of Letcher County who is accused of producing child pornography.

33-year-old Nicole Combs is now charged with three counts of producing child pornography. She had previously only been charged with one count.

This new indictment alleges that Combs engaged in criminal-sexual-activity with a 4-year-old boy on three separate occasions for the purpose of recording it with a camera to then distribute the videos.

Each charge against her carries a potential prison sentence of between 15-30 years. Her co-defendant, 46-year-old Eric Banks, has pleaded guilty and is currently awaiting his sentencing.

Combs’ attorney has previously indicated that he will pursue an insanity defense for his client. Combs is currently in Texas undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. She will be arraigned upon her return for the additional charges.
