Ruby Linda Swiney, 73 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center. Ruby was born August 02, 1947 in Kingsport, TN to the late Elmer Lewis and Marie Watts Lewis. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Swiney. Ruby is survived by three sons, Will Swiney of Lexington, KY, Greg Swiney of Oaktown, IN and MacKenzie Swiney of Elkhorn City, KY; and two daughters, Tina Sayers of Pikeville, KY and Melissa Carr of Rock Island, TN; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Ruby is also survived by three siblings, Jackie Lewis of Elkhorn City, KY, Betty Lewis Sanders of Fordsville, KY and Robin Lewis of Owensboro, KY. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, August 13, 2021 at 1PM from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
