Roger Tackett, age 88, of Paintsville died Friday August 20, 2021 at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY. He was born June 26, 1933 in Paintsville to the late Ralph Wayne and Donna Marie Pelphrey Tackett.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Tuesday August 24, 2021 in the chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with Dan Heaberlin officiating. Interment to follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery at Staffordsville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Twelve Baskets Food Pantry or the Veterans Referral Center by contacting the Preston Funeral Home at 606-789-4212.
