A former cook supervisor at the US Penitentiary Big Sandy has recently been sentenced to 17 ½ years after he pleaded guilty to trafficking meth in the prison.
56-year-old Hank Williams, of Weeksbury, pleaded guilty to charges of distributing meth, accepting a bribe, and using a communication device to facilitate a felony. He also admitted to conspiring with inmate Librado Naverette in order to distribute meth throughout the prison while also accepting bribes from several inmates.
Naverette also pleaded guilty and will be sentenced in October.
