Dencil Slone, age 75 of Hindman, Kentucky, Passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Knott County Health & Rehabilitation in Hindman, Kentucky. He was born on June 5, 1946, in Hindman, Kentucky to the late Clabe and Annie Thacker Slone.

Funeral services for Dencil Slone will be held on Monday September 6, 2021, at 1PM at the Ivy Point Old Regular Baptist Church in Garner, Kentucky with Jamie Hughes, Wesley Thacker & Darren Slone officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday September 4, 2021, after 6PM at the Church any anytime Thursday with services at 7PM each evening. Burial will follow at the Reynolds Fork Cemetery in Mallie, Kentucky. Dencil will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
