A Floyd County man is now in jail after firing a gun into his ex wife’s home. Joshua Keith Hoover,36 of Garrett has been charged with wanton endangerment, violation of a protective order, criminal mischief and felon in possession of a firearm. Police say Hoover went to his ex-wife’s home in Dixie, fired his gun through the door several times, then fled the scene. Afterward he went to his former mother-in-laws home and attempted to force his way inside. No one was injured in either incident. Hoover is now being held in the Floyd County detention center on a 25,000 cash bond.
