Alka Lucille Sparks, age 68 of Paintsville, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville. Born February 22, 1953 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late John Smith and Anna Mae Morgan Smith.

A memorial service for Alka will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. There will be no public viewing or funeral at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
