It is with deep sorrow that we write the obituary of our Mother and Grandmother. Alicetene Ward, 82, of McDowell, KY, passed away on September 26, 2021.

Alicetene was born on June 23, 1939, to Ralph and Lula Reynolds Newsome in Dony, KY.

In 1963, she met Ray Ward, and they wed in May, going on to have two children, Shearry Rae Ord and Alecia Brown.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY. There will be a visitation on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 6-9 PM at the funeral home as well as a funeral on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
