Delores Flanery Dingus, age 83, of Martin, KY, widow of Charles “Crush” Dingus, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the McDowell ARH, McDowell, KY.  She was born September 13, 1938 in Martin, KY, the daughter of the late Hallie and Elizabeth DeRossett Flanery.  She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Eastern Star, a Shriner’s Lady, member of Hillbilly Clan 31 Outhouse #2, a member of the Kentucky Association of County Government, a Finance officer for Floyd County, a member of the Floyd County Democrat Women’s Association, she worked in the Governors Office.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
