William “David” Miller, 74, of Lower Little Paint, East Point, KY, passed from this world after a long illness on October 24, 2021, in Lexington, KY. He was born May 14, 1947 in Prestonsburg the son of the late William Elbert Miller and the late Doris Hall Miller.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, Prestonsburg, KY officiated by Chaplain Rob Musick. Visitation will be at the Carter Funeral Home in Prestonsburg, KY on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 6 to 9 and Wednesday 12 noon until time of service. A private burial will follow in the Joe Blackburn Cemetery on Lower Little Paint, East Point, KY.

Serving as pallbearers are Ethan Elliott, Aidan Elliott, Hudson Elliott, Mark J. Miller, Greg Shepherd, Clint Shutts and Gregory Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society 574 S. Mayo Trail Pikeville, KY 41501. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home –Prestonsburg, KY.
