Laurel County Sheriff, John Root, announced earlier the rescue of a missing girl from Asheville, North Carolina.
The girl in question was in a car travelling through a construction site north of London. The person who spotted the vehicle reported it to the police, citing that the girl was using hand-signals made popular through the Tik Tok app.
These hand signals are used to represent a need for help, violence within the home, or domestic violence.
The person who called he police is said to have followed behind the vehicle, giving updates to officers.
Once police caught up to the vehicle, they identified the girl as a missing juvenile who had been reported missing the previous Tuesday.
