Pike County Man Indicted On Drug Trafficking Charges

A man out of Pike County has been arrested following his indictment on drug trafficking charges in Wolfe County.

 

44-year-old William Looney, of Elkhorn City, was arrested this past Tuesday morning.

 

In Wolfe County, Looney was indicted by a grand jury on charges of trafficking in fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.

 

His case dates back to April of this year, but Looney was indicted this month.

 

Looney is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash-bond.
