A man out of Pike County was arrested and is now facing drug trafficking charges.

 

59-year-old Kevin Eric Gillman, of Belfry, was arrested this past Friday evening. It is said that he was asked by both the arresting officer and the jail if he had any drugs on his person. Gillman is said to have answered “no” both times.

 

Following a search at the jail, however, authorities discovered bags of heroin alongside anxiety medication being contained in plastic bags within his pants pocket.

 

Gillman is now facing charges of promoting contraband, heroin trafficking, drug trafficking, and possession of a controlled substance.
