The search for a missing person in the Mount Zion Area of Pulaski County uncovered human remains this past Thursday morning.

Pulaski County Sheriff, Greg Speck, announced the find in a news release that same evening.

According to officers, evidence found near the body suggests that the remains belong to Roy Chumley, who was reported missing on October 4th of this year.

The Coroner then arrived to transport the skeletal remains to the state medical examiner’s office.

The investigation is still ongoing.
