The federal child pornography trial of a Pike County man has once again been delayed.
38-year-old Robert Preston, of Shelbiana, stands accused of threatening a 13-year-old girl in an effort to force her into sending him sexually explicit images of herself over the course of three years.
Preston was originally intended to go to trial back in January, but has since been repeatedly postponed. This, due to the pandemic and other issues. Most recently, he was scheduled to go to trial on December 20th, but that date has since been postponed till February 22. Prosecutors released more evidence to the defense, prompting Preston’s attorney to ask for more time to review.
