Southwestern Virginia Man Pleads Guilty To Drug And Gun Charges

A man out of Southwestern Virginia has pleaded guilty to federal drug and gun charges in court.

 

31-year-old Malcolm T’rell Pinkston, of Big Stone Gap, was charged with possession of fentanyl with the intention to distribute and use of a firearm during the course of a drug trafficking crime.

 

All this coming after Pinkston was discovered with over 40 grams of meth and two handguns on November 7th. HE pleaded guilty this past Wednesday. 

 

He faced a previous conviction in 2012 for conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, meaning he will face a minimum 10-year prison sentence.
