
Two men were arrested in Martin County following a drug investigation.
Deputies received a tip that 39-year-old Kyle Taylor, of Detroit, Michigan, along with multiple other people, were selling meth from a home on Ed Moore Lane, near Debord.
Upon their arrival, officers were given permission to enter the home by its owner. There, they found Taylor in the bathroom. Evidence of meth was also discovered in the bathroom, as well as two bags of meth being found on Taylor’s person, and another in the freezer. In total, Deputies uncovered around 51 grams of meth from Taylor and the house.
Taylor was arrested and charged with meth trafficking and tampering with physical evidence.
Officers were said to have spotted scales next to 45-year-old Jason Pennington, of Inez, as well as bags containing heroin stashed behind a nearby TV. Pennington is said to have claimed ownership for the heroin.
Pennington was arrested and charged with heroin trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
