Luther Albert VanHoose, age 72 of Tutor Key, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Born October 9, 1949 in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Holly VanHoose and Roberta Daniel VanHoose.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday, December 19, 2021 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the VanHoose – Daniel Cemetery, Tutor Key. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, 1:0opm to 8:00pm Saturday and until the time of service on Sunday. Holly J. VanHoose and Venny VanHoose will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
