Dockie Tolbert (DT) Block 49 of Kermit, WV passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the U.K. Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on April 24, 1972 in Columbus, OH; he was a son of Minnie Johnson Castle of Tutor Key, KY and the late Sammy Block. DT is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bertha and Tolbert Block as well as maternal grandparents, Dockie and Myrtle Johnson.

DT was a truck driver for Sartin Trucking for years and then for Puryear Tanklines.

Visitation will be after 2pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Kermit First Baptist Church of Kermit, WV with funeral services being conducted on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 12:00pm at the church with Terry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Dillon Cemeteyr of Stone Coal, WV. In response to the COVID-19 virus all attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing guidelines when applicable.
