Melda Childers Wiley, age 87 of Meally, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her residence.

     Born September 27, 1934 in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Mart Welch and Esther Butcher Welch. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Jean Welch.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Sunday, December 26, 2021 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Son Butcher Cemetery, Whitehouse. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Thursday, 4:00pm to 9:00pm Friday and Sunday until the time of service. Tommy Meade will officiate.
