A man out of Pike County is said to now be in critical condition after he was struck by a car this past Wednesday morning.

 

39-year-old Steven Hackney, of Hatfield, is said to have made an attempt to cross US 119, at Goody, when he was struck by the car. The incident is said to have taken place at 3:00 AM.

 

Hackney was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

 

This case is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
