Herbert Loyd Whitaker, age 68 of East Point, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his residence.

Born January 20, 1953 in Paintsville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Whitaker and Mildred Robinson Whitaker.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Whitaker Family Cemetery, East Point. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 8:00pm Monday and anytime prior to the service on Tuesday. Richard Greene will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
