Darlene Tackett Dye, age 62, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Paintsville ARH.

Darlene was born March 7, 1959, in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herschel Tackett and Ethel Frazier Tackett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Danny Dye.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2022.
