Dempsey Chaffins, age 87, of Garrett, KY, husband of Ella Faye Clemons Chaffins, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at the McDowell ARH, McDowell, KY.  He was born September 27, 1934 in Garrett, KY, a son of the late Oliver and Roxie Bolen Chaffins.  He was a member of the Hindman United Methodist Church and a retired carpenter.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with John Street and McCoy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery, Mousie, KY. Visitations is from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY
