One Man Injured Following Shooting In Harlan County

Troopers with the Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday morning in Harlan County.

 

Kentucky State Police Post 10, in Harlan, received a call concerning a shooting on Skidmore Road in Cranks Creek. According to officers, a man is said to have been visiting a home on that road when an argument began. It was then that the shooting occurred.

 

The injured man was taken to Harlan County ARH and was later flown to Holston Valley Medical Center. His condition is currently unknown.

 

No arrests have been made at this time. Officials say this was an isolated incident and that the community is not in danger.
